He's shaking so terribly from the panic attack that it's hard to move, but Ain manages to drag his jittery body over to the piles of stuff anyway. He wishes they were soft piles. And shouldn't dragon hoards have money in them...? And jewels? What a stupid dream...
He sniffles a second, third time, and then moves to sit behind one of the book piles. They're stacked so high that he can't grab one without risking the other books, but there are some in smaller piles he can safely get to without doing any damage. The dragons can bicker if they want to. Ain's thinking he fell asleep while reading and so, to wake up, he obviously has to read too. Just like in this one storybook he read once........
