Ain sits up and carefully scoops up a handful, using his palm as a bowl to eat out of. They're far more tart when they're not on a cake, he's realising. Maybe that's part of the herbs.
Ugh, he's never going to have cake again, is he? This is the worst. Maybe he can find some way to build a stove and cook... it can't be that hard. And both dragons seem to know how to cook things, so it's just a matter of getting grains... mm, maybe Ain could start a farm for that, actually, he's good at gardening. That's the one thing his mother let him do.
