[Oh, christened by the dragon... Ain giggles as he puts the book aside for now, on the page he left off on, and turns back to the novel he had started and got like two paragraphs in before his undiagnosed, medievally-unrecognized ADHD kicked in and took him on a journey.]

It'll be fun~. We can do it together. I've always been very tactile. [Girl he knows, you felt him and Wolfwood up for like an hour just now.] My mother always claimed it was in bad taste for a prince to do a stonemason's work, but doing things is so fun...

[Add remarks matter-of-factly. He will get up and cut the veggies in a minute…for now, Ain seems comfortable. He doesn’t want to disrupt him. Disgusting.]

Haha, that's true~. She'd let me do the garden because she liked that the yard was nice, but God forbid I want to hang out with the blacksmith for a bit and learn to make weapons, or go to the stonemason's or carpenter's shops and ask them to show me their work. I think it's important to know the people you share land with, but apparently the only thing I should know is how to be a proper prince with one or two hobbies she approves of~.

Anyway, I'm going to do things she doesn't like forever now, haha.

[He is very comfy, it's true. Add's wingies are so soft and warm.]

[Ain is allowed to do anything here, honestly. He can learn to build a stove, he can garden, he can even pick up a sword if he'd like. The dragons aren't going to stop him or care, so long as he doesn't turn the blade on them (or himself). But now that they've gotten to know each other, Add gets the distinct feeling Ain isn't that kind of person. He's too nice for his own good...nice, and a little goofy. It's gross to admit, but even Add feels the slightest bit endeared to him.

He'll lay there with Ain for a while, kindof half dozing for maybe a half hour or so before he gets up and stretches, shifting into his human form so he can chop vegetables before Wolfwood gets back and calls Add out on procrastinating which he NEVER does by the way. Ain will get to look at bare ass while he does this, since the dragons still haven't seemed to deem it necessary to dress themselves...like, maybe they'd consider it if Ain requested it, but otherwise...

Butt.

Wolfwood flies back in before too long, carrying way more cuts of meat in his claws than Ain could ever eat in a day, or even a week, but that meat won't go to waste. In their dragon forms, they can split it and it will barely be more than a snack. The stew is started before too long, set to simmer over the fire for the next couple of hours.]

[Ain is reading him book.

He will not tell the dragons to wear clothes because he likes peeking at them from over his novel. Sue him. He's never going to see this many naked men for free EVER AGAIN. So he reads while they work, actually making progress this time, and if the boys come back over he will snuggle up between them and keep reading his book.

He's having a nice time.]

[The boys are in their dragon forms again to rest while the food cooks, and now that they've gotten on better terms, Wolfwood will not hesitate to scoot as close to Add as he'll allow, which means Ain is comfortably snuggled up between both dragons. Like he will not have to worry about being cold right now, he is WAERM.

Wolfwood smirks, resting his head on his paws.]

Haha, I don't think it's raunchy or romantic...? At least, not so far. It's just a modern fantasy novel. ["Modern fantasy" because get it they're already in that era, get it. I'm so funny,] About a knight, and a unicorn. Unicorns are cute~.

Haha, ordinarily I'd say I don't mind if you do, but someone needs to make sure the stew can be pulled off the fire. I'll try to be entertaining~.

[And he'll just! Start reading! At the very least, Ain is quite the entertaining reader, who isn't afraid to raise his voice a tad to exclaim, emote, or otherwise. He has theatre kid energy. This man should be on stage doing plays and yet he's in a cave with dragons. Hmmm.

He'll read for as long as the stew needs to cook, so it'll be a few hours of narrative and epic battles and unicorns stabbing things with their horns.]

[Listening to Ain read to them with such eagerness and passion is...not something either dragon has ever experienced before. Add thinks it's a little ridiculous, at least at first, whereas Wolfwood is pretty much immediately listening with his tail wagging. And the funny part is, while Wolfwood doesn't fall asleep...Add sure does, ending up so relaxed listening to Ain's voice that he just fucking passes out. With his mouth open. He's drooling a little bit...

Wolfwood's NEVER seen him that relaxed around a human, which is saying a damn lot. It's endearing if he's honest, and he can't help but smile fondly as he yawns and rolls over, then drags himself up out of the nest as a couple hours pass.]

I'm gonna get the stew now, should be done cookin'. You ready to eat?

Uh-huh. Haha, I think Add fell asleep...

[He scoots up to the dragon's head and places a little smooch against his open mouth, on the upper corner of his lip. Cutie... He's so zooted.]

Wakey wakey... We're gonna have dinner, sleepy boy~.

[Add groans softly, bringing the tip of a wing over the other side of his face. Go away Wolfwood, he's sleeping...

But then it comes through the half-asleep haze that the voice he's hearing isn't Wolfwood's, which prompts him to crack open one eye. Ain, who is sitting there very close to his face, is somehow not who he was expecting to see, which causes him to startle just a little bit. Instinctively, he flips his head over like a snake trying to play dead, but that only lasts for a few seconds before he catches himself and gives his head a shake, moving to stand up.]

Mmrrgh...I wasn't sleeping.

Yeah, the drool on the nest says otherwise.

[Wolfwood calls over his shoulder as he spoons stew into three bowls for each of them.]

Wow, you weren't sleeping? You just laid there with your eyes closed to trick us both?

[Teehee. Heehee. Twirling his hair... He hasn't bothered to put his braid in lately, so it's just loose curls flopping around his index finger. It's still twirling. He's still fruity.]

You can admit you liked being read to. I won't be mad~.

Wolfwood is Unbothered by Add's aggressing as he waltzes over with food and places a bowl in Ain's lap before putting one in front of Add, which forces him to shapeshift so he can actually pick it up.]

Lemme know if you hate it, but I did try to follow the recipe as close as I could.

[They can read, Ain. You were being flat, you don't have to do things for people!! Especially not grown men (lizards)!!!

Ain will nom nom nom. Hmmm. Could use a tiny bit of pepper but—]

You didn't hafta read it to me, it's okay. Woulda turned out the same either way.

[And judging by Add eating and not criticizing it immediately, he has to assume it's pretty good. He's never actually had it thickened before, and that's made it really good he's realizing.]

We'll try to make bread whenever you and Add figure that oven out. I can't promise it'll be edible, but we'll try it.

Haha... Bread is touchy. But we'll try it and see, won't we? It takes a bit to master the art I'm told. We need an oven either way. It'll make cooking easier, and the fire inside will be toasty... That way when the weather gets bad I can lay by it like a cat.

[Suddenly the attention is on him, and Add sputters because he's unable to hide the way his face reddens in his human form. He grits his teeth and looks away quickly, his tail lashing.]

You...you don't want to "cuddle" a dragon.

Wasn't that what we were just doing? Especially earlier?? I do want to cuddle a dragon. I am not a coward.

[Wolfwood has to try very hard not to laugh right into his bowl. Ain has only been here barely two days and he's already learned how to play Add like a fiddle.]

I'd cuddle with you! I'm not afraid of cuddling with a human!

Good~! Because otherwise you'd be a big ol' baby dragon, and not a brave grown-up dragon, and you wouldn't want that now would you?

[Add is easy to figure out. Ain just needs to obliterate him and boom! He is receiving attention and cuddles. Finally, he will stay warm at night.]

[Wolfwood is dying silently over there, he has to get up and go get more soup before he cries laughing into his empty bowl.

Add, meanwhile, reaches his paw out and like...does that thing cats do where they paw at you like they're gonna slap you, but they just put their foot on you instead. He does that to Ain's head.]

You're getting bold for being here barely 48 hours. Don't patronize me!
