He has a lot of work to do as it is, so assuming Ain sleeps the rest of the day away, he'll finish logging his research, doing his paperwork and reports, and then head out so he can start it all again tomorrow. Not knowing that tomorrow won't just be like this with a sleepy Siren and all.]
[Ain will wake up when pushed back into the water and be a little annoying for another hour before he falls back asleep again... he doesn't understand why Add won't cuddle like a normal person (ain he has issues babe) but he will have a mini fit about it before he goes off to his hide and sleeps until lunch, then plays a bit, then sleeps until dinner.
Yeah, little does Add know this level of crashing is because he's going to be horny and restless all night, and all day tomorrow. Like, Ain is very visibly agitated on the nighttime cams this time, swimming in short, rapid circles and making frustrated chirping sounds that sound almost like how he screams when he's upset about getting shots. Add's going to have quite a few texts detailing that Ain's heat seems to be hitting him very strongly now, since he's been up all night in some sort of fugue state. They'd almost think he was sick if the night staff didn't come to check up on him and see him furiously rubbing his slit by accident. Whoops.
When Add comes in, Ain isn't out of his cave, but it's clear by the amount of general stuff floating in the water — one of his flasks, the ball, the rings, and the chew toys, and his bedding — that he'd basically been so restless he'd torn the entire tank apart. Thank goodness his cave is nailed down or he would've flipped that too, probably.
He's laying facedown in the sand dying. The top of his head is visible in the fluorescent lights, and Ain's tentacles are poking just outside the cave. Help.]
