[WAUGH WHY IS HE BEING KISSED?? Add makes a sortof strangled noise when Ain kisses him out of nowhere, which again causes Wolfwood to chuckle like he knows something Add doesn't. Grrr...

Anyway beans. He has them. His paws are again more slender than Wolfwood's, but the legs they're attached to are bulky and powerful besides. His claws have a bit more of a hook to them, and they're white instead of black like Wolfwood's are. Translucent, almost.]

Yeah, your paw pads. Humans call them "toe beans" when they're on cats and dogs because they look like beans, the food. It's a silly thing we do. Nikolaus says he's never seen cats or dogs before, so, uh... wolves. Wolves have them. You guys have wolves here, right?

[They have to, it's a mountain. What mountain doesn't have dogs in it... a stupid mountain, Ain thinks.

We do...it's not like they stay close to us or anything, though.

[Dragons, as expected, are the apex predators basically in ANY region they're in, so even predators like Wolves are going to cow to them. If there aren't any in an area, then something more dangerous is lurking...which is not a good sign.

Anyway his beans are being squished still...and when Ain tries to tickle him, his tail flicks, and before he can be affected he suddenly- gently- wraps his paw around Ain's hand like a cat squeezing its paw around your finger.]

Hehe... [Ain takes this as a "stop" and giggles to himself, leaning against Add's side.] Do you like belly rubs? Or is that also off-limits?

[He pets the joint of Add's "thumb" as he talks with his free hand.]

[Ain spins around and puts his hands on Add's belly, and he "feels" his soft scales, and by "feels" I mean he initially pets them before he scritch scritch scritches them vigorously with both hands and arms moving, like with Wolfwood.

Don't worry, these aren't belly rubs, nope, definitely not.]

[Add lays there, pretending he's just allowing this and doesn't care, but...as Ain rubrubs his belly, he proceeds to flatten out even further, his eyes drifting half closed.

[Honestly, Add didn't realize how much he was flattening and enjoying the rubs until Ain suddenly stops, causing him to lift his head and look very :(? about it for just a second until he catches himself.

[Scoot scoot... he reaches for Add's tail and pulls it into his lap. This one has the fuzzy tufts on it, which Ain finds very charming, like everything else really. He drags it over his legs like a blanket, then settles his fingers in the fur.

He starts to braid a few strands together.]

[Sighs...he supposes he may as well explain.]

Nicholas and I are different species of dragon. Wolfwood is what you would call a "Western" dragon, while I am an "Eastern" dragon. Nicholas is actually not from this region...wherever he came from is far away from here. Dragons like him are far less common than dragons like me, in this region. Which...says a lot, because I haven't seen dragons like me in centuries.

[He watches Ain with one large eye as he braids the white hair along his spine. It feels...weirdly nice, if he were to be perfectly honest.]

So I'm a lot thinner and faster, he's bulkier and stronger. I use electrical elemental magic, he uses fire.

I'm just Ain~. I don't have anything special going on. [That's not true, you're covered in freckles.] Humans have a breath attack we can do too, called "morning breath", which is what you get if you don't brush your teeth before bed.

[Ain braids this little part into Add's tailfur, then moves to another part to do the same... and after about ten minutes, the end of his tail and the bigger puff at the end will have little braids all over it. He has done it. He has decorated you. They will unwind eventually, it's not like he has tied them in with anything, but that's the fun of it. It means he gets to comb it out later and do the same thing all over again.]

Can I see your wings, too? Then I'll lay down for real, I promise.

Yeah. They’re not all that special though.

[He turns over, stretching out a wing that’s completely feathered. They’re white like his hair, but they have an honestly gorgeous sort of pattern that shifts between white, purple, and that same electric magenta. They’re a little staticy but very, very soft to the touch.

The wing on the side of his body with the eye scar seems to bear an old injury, with some of the pin feathers cut short in a way that suggests he might not be a strong of a flier as he once was. Maybe he uses magic to fly…]

[Ain runs his hands against the clipped pinfeathers, then to the much larger primaries, to the middle of the wing proper... and then cranes his neck to plant a kiss in the pinfeathers proper. Mwah. There, now you two are even on your Ain-designated kisses for the day.

Dragons are cool. Ain wants to learn magic... it's not fair that he's human, he wants to be fun at parties too! He wants to learn spells that would make it so he never has to brush his hair ever again by having it be immaculate every morning, and healing magic, and like... magic that lets him make sparkles in midair, like throwing shiny confetti everywhere. That's what he wants.]

You guys are both pretty. Aren't dragons supposed to be super egotistical? Shouldn't you be telling me how your wings are magnificent and I'm lucky I get to touch them?

[They’re both damaged, as Ain has seen, in different ways. It’s hard to say if it’s from other dragons, animals, or humans, but in Add’s case…he HAD to have been held captive by humans at one point, given that scar on his neck that he has yet to even acknowledge.

Wolfwood stretches across the room, yawning. He’d better start looking at what dinner’s gonna be…he shifts into his human form so he can look through the ingredients Add brought as he answers aloud, another voice in the cave for the first time all morning.]

Hah. You’d be the first to call us that. To hear the people say it, we’re hideous, evil monsters.
